Executive Caterers' founder Harlan Diamond honored with Jewish National Fund Tree of Life Award
The Jewish National Fund's Tree of Life Award™ is a humanitarian award given in recognition of outstanding community involvement, dedication to American-Israeli friendship, and devotion to peace and security of human life. On May 21, 2006, JNF's Northeastern Ohio Region proudly presented Executive Caterers founder Harlan Diamond with this highest of honors at a special fundraising dinner at Executive Caterers. Proceeds from the dinner went to support a recreation park at Be'er Milka, a new community being developed in the western Negev, a desert region of Israel near the Egyptian border. Well-known for his dedication to the community, Mr. Diamond is naming a garden in the park in honor of his parents, Dr. Leo and Babe Diamond.
Founded in 1901, JNF is a non-profit serving as caretaker of the land of Israel on behalf of Jewish people everywhere.
